To my surprise the postman brought me a parcel today from my favorite highstreet store ZARA. I orderd it last week and wasn’t expecting it so soon. But he, you don’t hear me complain, it totaly made my day! Enjoy your weekend!!

As a denim designer I am surrounded by denim most of my office-days. So today I thought I’ll show you some things in my office that inspire me.

One of my favorite things to do is making scrapbooks. I was first introduced to this phenomenon when I started my fashion education and never stopped since then. I have been doing it for several years now and my library keeps on growing. They represent my love for fashion and all things that interest me. And the best part is, I see my taste and style evolve through the years, sometimes it’s almost like looking in a mirror.

SAVE THE DATE, SAVE THE DATE!! Karl Lagerfeld (my favorite designer) is launching a new, affordable womenswear label, entitled Karl. It’s expected to go on sale in January exclusively on NET-A-PORTER.COM. The collection will include 100 pieces and prices will range from 60 to 450 euro’s.
“It’s my today’s taste and style and a reflection of how I think a great number of people would like to be dressed now,” Lagerfeld told WWD.“I just want not too expensive clothes that people may like and perhaps want to wear. That was my concept for a long time, but my businesspartners in the past wanted to be like Chanel or Fendi without putting behind what is needed to be like that.”I’m really curious and can’t wait to see the first pictures.

It’s here and it’s here to stay. No more warm sunny days, no more bare feet and legs. I have to give up, it’s autumn. And I must say, it’s not a bad as I expected it to be. We have some beautiful day ahead of us and I finally get to wear my new stuff. These are my favorite new additions:

We all have a list in our head of things we would love to do in our life. Some are in our reach and some far out of reach. On top of my life wish-list is a grand tour at the Chanel head office, 31 Rue Cambon, Paris. In my opinion the best of fashion, interior and architecture combined.
