On a day like this (it’s currently minus 5 degrees outside my office brrrr) I need some summer images to get me through this horrible weather. I can’t wait till it’s summer again and wear my shoes without socks. But for now all we have are the new summer campaigns, so I will keep on browsing though my Vogue’s and wish for the sun to come and find me.

On sunday I visited the Modefabriek in Amsterdam. A fashion fair with fashion foreward areas, known and unknown designers and special inspiration platforms. I always love to check out the new designers and to find new brands.

One of the brands that caught my eye is Camps & Camps, a Dutch jewelery brand. I loved the bold colors and clean lines of these fresh, bold jewels. Their spring/summer collection “Supernova” will be available in a few weeks.

 One of the new designers that really stood out was Eleanor Amoroso, a London based designer. Her super knitted collection remided me a bit of Dutch designer Iris van Herpen. These all handmade garments really show her creativity.

 And off course their was lots of inspiration for your summer wardrobe. I can’t wait to wear these colored denims.

I don’t believe in separate summer or winter wardrobes because I love to wear my favorite items all year round. This light silk black dress is perfect for spring and fall but with a knitted vest over it, it’s also perfect for a date in winter. Thick and thin go perfect together.

One of my dreams is that someday I can design my own shoe-line. And as a true professional I already did my research (always a good excuse to buy a new pair).
