Yesterday I had a very important meeting (which I can’t tell you about now but I will do so later) so I tryed to dress the part. But because I don’t want to look to casual and also not like an secretary I combined the best of both worlds. A casual sweater with a classic pencil skirt and some statement accessories.

I guess I can say these shoes are my favorites, I wear them at least once a week. Never expected this when I bought them.

It’s that time of year again, holiday season and it got me thinking, what to pack for my favorite holiday destination? And even though I will not be leaving for another 7 weeks or so, I already start searching for the perfect must-haves. London, Paris or Rome, city trips are the perfect get-away. For me this means stylish classics mixed whit on-trend items, making sure everything can be combined and worn together from day till night.

Today I was just out and about enjoying my Sunday. I was wearing my new neon jacket, a week earlier than I actually planned. But like more of you out there, I just can’t help myself. I can’t buy something and not wear it immediately. So while I planned to save it until next Sunday when my father turns 65 and we have a party to celebrate  (more of that later) I failed again. I’t reminded me of my first Communion. My mother and I bought my dress and shoes weeks before the actual date and it drove me crazy. I wanted to wear that white dress and shoes (with a little heel, can you imagine, I was in love) so much that I almost begged my mother almost every night to let me try it on.  And so many years later nothing has changed. Hopefully I’ll wear this jacket just a much as I did that dress.

Yes I admit it, I’m a shoe-addict, a Carrie-wannabe, shoe-aholic or whatever you want to call it. I just can’t help it, ever since I started my career in a shoe store I got hooked. And now here we are are, 12 years later, I’m feeling the love again. I need (read want) a new pair of shoes.

So what about these beauty’s I spotted at Nelly.com. I think they would look pretty good in my shoe closet and even better on my feet. But the only question left is; which color would to pick?

As much as I love dressing up, when I’m working I prefer to wear jeans or any other type of trouser.

Of course I pair it with some statement jewelry and a pair of classy heels.

I scored these G-star trousers at a end-of-season-sale a few months back. At 70% off and only one  (my size) left it was meant to be.

My favorite tropical island is not very tropical but its warm and the most beautiful island I’ve been so far. I’m talking about Sicily, Italy. If you love the Italian lifestyle you will certainly love this island.

We shot this picture on top of the Edna, the working volcano Sicily is based on. I have this photo framed and it’s standing in our kitchen to daily remind us of this perfect holiday.

These days it’s al about the strange weather. While it is raining most of the day, it’s also warm and sunny at times. Not ideal weather to get dressed in the morning. So I decided to layer up some of my favorite items. Et voilà, strange weather, strange outfit.

Sneak peek: H&M revealed their autumn/winter 12 collection and it is deffinitely to my liking. Lot’s of black, gold and glitters. Can’t wait to get my hands on some of these items.

I guess it’s no secret that I love glitters and a pop of color so when I was doing some shopping last week this is what I took home with me.

 This H&M glitter clutch was in stores for quite some time but just recently I realized that it would perfectly match my Miu Miu pumps.

I’m definitely in the mood for big earrings these days. Earrings: H&M (Not yet available online)

What can I say, I love stripes. Especially when they are gold and glittery.

I found this printed silky scarf in a little shop. It has no brand-label and was very cheap. I already regret not buying more colors because I really love the golden accessories at the ends.

Received my Asos earrings rapidly. And to my surprise they are very easy to wear, very light.

A girl can never have to many bags and a turquoise version wasn’t  in my collection yet.
