Sometimes one minor detail can change a whole outfit, I love how a neon orange bra gives this otherwise black and white outfit a little more edge. Neon and seethrough blouses, summer is coming, yeah!!

Yesterday I visited the “Modefabriek” fashion fair in Amsterdam. I always love to see what everybody is doing for next season. This time it was all about summer 2013 and a few brands were showing their winter 12-13 collection. Lots of inspiration for everyone who loves fashion.

We both loved the sunglasses of the Swedish brand E&E so off course we had to try the all on. Some of them are already in stores now and the rest will follow soon.

Everyone has a few pieces in their wardrobe they wear the most. For me 2 of these pieces are my gray trousers from Zara and Oui Oui Paris t-shirt from Maison Scotch.

Today I wear them with my Neon jacket and black slingbacks from Zara, my current favorite items.

So after a very busy week of working and party planning yesterday it was finally time to relax and celebrate my fathers 65 birthday. Luckily it was to hot after all to wear my neon jacket and to be honest I hoped it wood be.

Cheap and chic. This  H&M clutch perfectly matches my Miu Miu pumps.

Today I was just out and about enjoying my Sunday. I was wearing my new neon jacket, a week earlier than I actually planned. But like more of you out there, I just can’t help myself. I can’t buy something and not wear it immediately. So while I planned to save it until next Sunday when my father turns 65 and we have a party to celebrate  (more of that later) I failed again. I’t reminded me of my first Communion. My mother and I bought my dress and shoes weeks before the actual date and it drove me crazy. I wanted to wear that white dress and shoes (with a little heel, can you imagine, I was in love) so much that I almost begged my mother almost every night to let me try it on.  And so many years later nothing has changed. Hopefully I’ll wear this jacket just a much as I did that dress.

One of my favorite trends for this summer is by far Neon. I really love the quirky touch it can give your outfit. This season every brand and designer has some neon pieces in their collection. These are mine favorites for the moment.

Today I’m wearing my favorite H&M collaboration piece, a sheer white blouse from Matthew Williamson for H&M. This collection was launched back in 2009 and was the only collaboration from which I bought multiple pieces that I still love today.

The neon details are really on trend for this summer and match perfectly with all the bright colours that I bought lately.
