SALE SCORE

Sale, you either love it or hate but you can’t hide from it. And that’s exactly why I’ve turned myself into a sale lover. Back in the days, when we could only shop in stores haha, I really hated this time of year. Messy stores and crowded streets, not my type of shopping. But ever since I started shopping online I also started to love the sales. Nothing beats sale shopping out of the comfort of my own home or office. And over time I have learned a few tricks as well. For one, I have subscribed myself to the mailing-list of all my favorite stores so I know exactly when the sale starts and when to get the best discounts. Then, when I spot something I love I always ask myself 1 question; would I buy it if it was not on sale? If, the answer is NO than don’t do it. You will not be happy in the end. And last but not least, stick to the basics and things you are sure of to wear over and over again. This way you would be buying anything just because it was on sale. And so that’s basically how this […]

H&M STUDIO MINI ME

What do you say when H&M asks you if you would like to do an exclusive photo shoot for their new H&M Studio Kids line? You say yes of course. And so it happened that on a morning in August, with temperatures rising up to 30 degrees that day, we were shooting these super cool matching fur coats. Circumstances like these brings out the worst in people and shows who the real professionals are. And I have to say, Chloé already is a real professional. The whole time she was smiling, clapping her hands and flirting with the camera. What’s that to say about me? I guess she’s just so used to being photographed all the time that it is just normal and fun to her. And she loves all the attention of course, but then, who does’t. So, before I’m turning into a Kardashian kinda momanager, please stop me :)    | Photo’s exclusive for Fabulous Mama and Fabmama.nl –  Photo’s by LEX SELMAN | | Me: Coat H&M Studio | Chloé: Coat H&M Studio mini-me |

THE LONGEST

Looks like an old friend of mine is back and he’s here to stay for good. You either love him or hate him but from now on there no way arround it annymore. So take a stand and stick to it, no need to tell you which camp I choose. I know it’s not the most easy style to wear since they don’t fit every body type very easily. But if you find the perfect one than they will serve you well. A good pair will make your legs go on for miles and slims your waist to its very best point. Mine is always high waisted and super long so I can wear them with my highest heels. If you weren’t a fan already maybe you are now. . | Jacket ZARA | Top COS | Jeans MANGO | Bag + broche CHANEL | Necklace PIECES | | Heels FENDI | Ring YSL | Sunglasses PRADA | | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | | TWITTER | PINTEREST | TUMBLR |

FLOURISHING

With 36 weeks and counting I can now definitely say that maternity wear is not my cup of tea. I have tried and tested a couple of maternity jeans, t-shirts and tops and non of them are to my liking. I try to avoid them as much as I can, guess it’s just not for me. The only items that I have not regret buying are all dresses. Now they are comfortable without any concessions. Like this folk floral printed one from Asos Maternity. It’s my current favorite dress to wear, mainly because it’s just a “normal” dress with some extra space at the waistline, and sometimes that’s just all it takes. By the way, this dress is also available in a “normal” size  for all you non pregnant. Now that’s why I love Asos! . | Dress ASOS | Fake Fur stola H&M | Heels ZARA | Bag CHANEL | Sunnies PRADA | . | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | PINTEREST | TUMBLR |

BLUE SKIES

All good things come to end and so did my week off in the snow. On the last day there was nothing but blue skies and sunshine, such an gorgeous contrast with the white landscape. Just like this jacket is. This baby blue number is the perfect transseasonal piece. Warm enough for the cold mornings we are still have but in a shade that’s already a link to summer. Worn with thights and my furry Fendi heels all winter appropriate but also ready for jeans and sandals. I’m ready to be home again. | Jacket ZARA | Dress ASOS | Thights WOLFORD | Heels FENDI | Sunnies CHANEL | . . | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | PINTEREST |

OH SO BLUE

These pants and booties were by far the most worn items that I wore last week when strolling the streets of Gaschurn. When the temperatures drop being comfortable get more and more important for me and these 2 are just all that, comfortable without giving up on style. And although I wore them with pleasure I’m also very happy that I didn’t get to wear them any more since I got back home. Even though I really love winter and I love an all snowy landscape I’m so glad to be back home were spring is already up on us and I can easily were my favorite heels without slipping. | Sweater ZARA Men | Fur stola H&M Trend | Pants H&M | Booties BUFFALO | Sunnies CHANEL | . | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | PINTEREST |

I GOT IT COVERED

Wearing double jackets is the way to go these days. It’s perfect for this strange winter/fall weather we have to endure this February. Kinda crazy thinking that this time last year the weather was all snow and freezing temperatures. Luckily the weather gods decided to be kind this year, almost just a kind as the fashion gods. They were for sure on my side when I scored my latest shoe obsession, these furry Fendi’s. I love how they perfectly balance this look, from ripped jeans to dressy coat, all glued together like it was meant to be. | Jacket ZARA | Blazer H&M | Sweater ZARA | Jeans ZARA | Heels FENDI | . | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | PINTEREST |

FUR REAL

Last week I was still in a French mood because of my last trip to the French country-side and my beloved Paris. As you can see I still channel my inner Frenshionista by wearing a Chloe bag, a Breton striped shirt (one of my all time favorite tops) and my new (old) vintage fur waistcoat I found on my sisters addic that used to belong to my mother, are you still following me haha. Anyway, I really love it, and I have been wearing it almost non-stop since I got it (also in Paris here and here). I think it really gives my outfit the final touch, something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue.   | Sweater H&M | Fur waistcoat Vintage | Jeans H&M | Bag Chloe | Heels Zara | Sunnies Chanel | Watch Michael Kors | Rings YSL, Asos | . | Follow me on FACEBOOK | INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | PINTEREST | TUMBLR |

PARIS TOKIO

Our first day in Paris was well spend. We arrived around noon and after parking our car we immediately hit the city. Our first stop was Avenue George V, a perfect street which I never been before. We had some coffee at nice Parisian/Italian restaurant before we headed over to the Palais du Tokio. This was the first time for us to visit this modern museum and this time we came specially for the Chanel No 5 exhibition. A must see if you’re into Chanel No 5 or Chanel in general like I am. It really tell the story about her life and how she inspired by all the people and things around her, really inspirational. After we left Palais du Tokio we went to check in in our hotel. This time I choose Hotel Jules for the night. A perfect situated and renovated boutique hotel that I can recommend to anyone who’s looking for a nice hotel in the center of Paris. After we checked in and dropped off our stuff at the hotel we hit the city and did what I love best. We just had nowhere to go and just got lost, we walked aroud the Louvre […]
